Alive and Kicking (A&K) is an innovative African social enterprise that manufactures sports balls to provide balls for children, jobs for adults and promote health education through sport.  TackleAfrica has trained a number of A&K’s stitchers as HIV educators, and our coaches often join them on A&K roadshows which travel to rural parts of Kenya to organise sports events which are based around raising HIV awareness.

In early 2011 we hope to place a TackleAfrica staff member with A&K Kenya who will work closely with our Coaching Development Manager to provide full time support, development and feedback to the hundreds of coaches that we have trained in Kenya over recent years.
