Simba Maasai Outreach Organisation (SIMOO) first partnered with TackleAfrica in 2008, and their aim is to improve living standards for the Maasai community including promoting awareness of healthy living, sanitation and HIV education.

In 2008 TackleAfrica gave SIMOO a grant which was used to create awareness of the spread and prevention of HIV in the Maasai community through sport; to fund prizes and awards for the best teams/players, to set up a theatre group to stage plays and drama, to broadcast a radio programme in the Maasai vernacular language and set up logistical support to carry out an annual field day.
