Maia Bobo

Maia was founded in 1996 to help the community of Bobo Dioulasso, the second largest city in Burkina Faso. They aim to support those living in difficult condition, particularly with regards education and health.
Our programme with Maia is thanks to our merger with Coaching For Hope, and involves community football coaches being trained to deliver sessions to young people that discuss the harmful cultural practice of Female Genital Mutilation, and seeks to find ways to engage the community to help prevent it.
For more information, please visit their website (French) http://www.maia.asso.fr/

Today marks the World Day of Social Justice🧑‍⚖️ Our projects have taken on various social issues and are carried out by a particularly diverse workforce that we are extremely proud of ✊ #LGBTQ 🏳️‍🌈 #BLM 🖤 #WomenEmpowerment ♀️ #DisabilityAwareness ♿️ pic.twitter.com/Dttc…

Amid COVID-19, coaches of our 'Levelling the Field' project - educating young women and girls in Malawi - were forced to stop group sessions⚽️ We took to the airwaves, with our partner @yonecofm, to continue giving out SRHR/HIV information ℹ️ #InternationalDayofRadio📻 pic.twitter.com/UToa…

this article provides an excellent insight into our programmes in partnership with @LaureusSport and Hoima Network of Child Rights Clubs (HONECRIC)👇 twitter.com/LaureusS…
