Today we celebrate the tenth annual World Sexual Health Day, an awareness day managed by the World Association for Sexual Health, a global advocacy organisation committed to promoting best practices in sexual health. At TackleAfrica we take sexual health very seriously, as you can imagine!

The TackleAfrica team are committed to promoting better sexual and reproductive health across Africa
Last week we were thrilled to be able to bring staff together from across ten African countries and the UK office for a week-long training in sexual health best practice, in the Ivory Coast. During the week we heard from many different programmes our staff and partner organisations work on, covering a huge range of sexual health issues. With workshops on Female Genital Mutilation, Gender-Based Violence, HIV knowledge and prevention, correct and consistent condom use among others, staff left the week with a greater understanding of how we can play our part in promoting best practices in sexual health across the African continent.
On this World Sexual Health Day, we urge you to check out the work of our partners, without whom we would not be able to do the work we do. These are organisations committed to improving the lives of young Africans and those most-at-risk from HIV and other sexual health issues.
