Programme Manager – Uganda/Tanzania

TackleAfrica are recruiting for an exciting role in Uganda with some Tanzania travel, training and supporting football coaches to deliver Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and HIV education through a football-based curriculum.

The role has the following timescales and start dates:
Kampala, Uganda based, with frequent national and regional travel – 12 month placement starting ideally April 2020
Deadline for applications – Friday 13th March, 5pm UK.

The post represents a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic organisation in an exciting period of growth. You will be working alongside staff and volunteers from local East African partner organisations to build and develop football coaching skills, and support football coaches to deliver regular high quality SRHR/HIV education on the pitch to young people and key populations within their communities.

For this position, if an overseas applicant, flights to/from Uganda, accommodation, local travel, work related expenses and a local Living Allowance will be provided.
If Uganda-based, locally competitive salary instead of the Living Allowance is payable, with all work-related costs paid in addition.

Interviews and pre departure training will take place in either Kampala, Uganda or London, UK. Although interviews for suitable candidates may be done remotely via Skype, any travel and accommodation costs to in-person interviews must be borne by the applicant.

Applicants required for interview will be contacted and should be available in the week commencing 16th March 2020.
