We love catching up with former TackleAfrica staff and seeing where their careers have taken them, and it was great to talk recently to one of our Project Officers from our Arua programme in northern Uganda. Mike Letti – a former Uganda Cranes player – was trained as a TackleAfrica coach, and excelled on the training. Mike was subsequently employed to follow up our other coaches in the Arua programme, providing mentoring and coaching support as they delivered their HIV education sessions. Our programme in Arua is completed for the time being, but Mike continues to work in football and the sport for development sector, using his skills and experience for social good.
