World Aids Day 2020 – Quiz 32

5th November 2020

The 1st of December marks the 32nd World Aids Day so we’re embarking on our latest campaign.

TackleAfrica is re-booting the ‘video chat’ quiz era! We’re asking our friends and supporters to help us by running a series of quizzes, either made by us or by yourselves for the creatives amongst you!

The aim – in accordance with the number 32 – is to stage as many as 32 quizzes and raise at least £3,200 to celebrate the occasion.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards running our operations across Sub-Saharan Africa which largely involves work associated with raising awareness and providing facilities for those at risk of or living with HIV/AIDS via football coaching.

HIV/AIDS is an issue that is central to a lot of our projects and we’ve been able to make positive change year on year; in 2019/20 we engaged 7,458 young people with voluntary HIV testing and counselling, and distributed over 50,000 contraceptives. You can find out more about what we do here.

4: Collect £20 per team or get them to donate to our JustGiving page:

Today marks the World Day of Social Justice🧑‍⚖️ Our projects have taken on various social issues and are carried out by a particularly diverse workforce that we are extremely proud of ✊ #LGBTQ 🏳️‍🌈 #BLM 🖤 #WomenEmpowerment ♀️ #DisabilityAwareness ♿️ pic.twitter.com/Dttc…

Amid COVID-19, coaches of our 'Levelling the Field' project - educating young women and girls in Malawi - were forced to stop group sessions⚽️ We took to the airwaves, with our partner @yonecofm, to continue giving out SRHR/HIV information ℹ️ #InternationalDayofRadio📻 pic.twitter.com/UToa…
